A DC step-down (buck) converter that drops a 12V or 24V vehicle power supply to a regulated 5V DC output. Non-isolated BUCK design in an aluminium shell for heat dissipation. This variant: 12V to 5V at 5A (25W), small aluminium shell.
Wide input voltage range (8–22V for the 12V variant) handles real-world vehicle voltage fluctuations without issue. IP67 waterproof rating means it can be installed in exposed locations. Protection covers over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature, and short circuit. No reverse polarity protection on the input — double-check polarity before connecting.
Note: the output cannot be used to directly charge batteries or accumulator packs.
