Shipping & tracking
Where does KifTech deliver?
We currently deliver to physical addresses within the Republic of South Africa only. We do not ship to P.O. boxes.
Please provide a complete street address and a reachable South African phone number for delivery.
How much does standard shipping cost?
- R49 for qualifying carts below R750.
- Free standard shipping for qualifying carts of R750 or more.
The shipping method or courier, eligibility and fee shown in the cart and confirmed at checkout are authoritative for your order, including after cart, address or discount changes.
Which shipping method or courier is used?
KifTech uses a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) delivery process for all orders. The shipping method or courier available for your order is shown in the cart and confirmed at checkout.
Applicable import duties, import tax and customs fees are included in the amount shown at checkout and handled before delivery.
How long does delivery take?
- Processing before dispatch: 0–3 business days.
- Estimated transit after dispatch: 8–14 business days.
- Total estimated time from order placement: 8–17 business days.
Business days are Monday to Friday and exclude public holidays. Delivery dates are estimates and can be affected by customs processing, delivery-network backlogs, weather, address issues or remote locations.
Will I have to pay import duties, customs fees or another courier charge on delivery?
KifTech uses a Delivered Duty Paid delivery process for all orders. Applicable import duties, import tax and customs fees are included in the amount shown at checkout and handled before delivery.
You should not be asked to make a separate import or customs payment on delivery. Contact KifTech before paying an unexpected customs or import request.
When will I receive tracking, and why might it not update immediately?
A tracking link is emailed after dispatch. The 0–3-business-day processing period comes before dispatch, so tracking is not normally available immediately after ordering.
A new tracking record may take 24–48 hours to show its first movement, and international parcels can have gaps between scans while moving between facilities or clearing customs.
What support is available for a delayed or missing delivery?
- If an order is delivered later than the estimated timeframe shown when purchased, you may request a R20 store credit after the delay is verified.
- If tracking shows no movement for 15 consecutive days after dispatch, contact us. After verification and investigation, KifTech may offer a free reshipment or refund.
- If the order has not been delivered within 30 days after dispatch, you may choose a refund to the original payment method or a replacement shipment after verification.
These remedies are assessed after a customer request and are not issued automatically. See the Shipping Protection Policy.
Tracking says delivered, but I cannot find the parcel. What should I do?
Check with household members, reception, security, neighbours and any safe place around the address. Then contact the courier shown for your order and notify KifTech promptly.
Send us your order number, tracking link, delivery address and any delivery case reference so we can assist with the investigation.
Orders & products
What does “In Stock • Processed in 0–3 days” mean?
In Stock means the selected product variant is currently available to order. Processed in 0–3 days is the handling period before dispatch.
Orders are processed through KifTech’s fulfilment route, so “In Stock” does not necessarily mean the product is stored at KifTech’s South African administrative office. Transit begins after dispatch.
Is KifTech a marketplace?
No. KifTech is the retailer responsible for products sold on kiftech.co.za. Orders are processed through KifTech’s fulfilment route and use a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) delivery process, while customer support and approved returns are managed locally in South Africa.
Can I change, cancel or correct an order after placing it?
Contact support immediately with the order number and requested change, including a corrected address where relevant. We will confirm what is still possible based on the processing and dispatch status.
A change or cancellation is not confirmed until KifTech accepts it. Address changes may no longer be possible after dispatch.
Are all products original manufacturer products?
No. KifTech sells a mixture of selected branded or genuine products and compatible, replacement or aftermarket accessories and parts. A product is described as genuine, original, OEM or authorised only where the specific listing expressly says so.
Words such as “for”, “compatible with”, “replacement for” or “fits” usually describe intended compatibility and do not mean the referenced manufacturer made or endorsed the item.
How should I check compatibility before ordering?
Compare the exact brand, model number, generation, size, connector, region or part number shown in the listing with your device. Similar product names can cover different generations that use different parts.
Compatibility information is based on available supplier or manufacturer data, technical specifications and product information. If uncertain, send support the KifTech product link, your exact device model or part number and clear photos where useful, and wait for a response before purchasing.
Does KifTech provide installation or advanced technical support?
We can help with listing information, basic compatibility guidance, order-related product issues and the return or warranty process. Unless a listing expressly includes installation, products are supplied as goods only.
For firmware, operating-system faults, manufacturer accounts, complex repairs or specialist installation, use the manufacturer’s documentation or a qualified technician.
Can I request a product that is not listed?
Yes. Email support@kiftech.co.za with the exact brand, model, part number, colour or variant and, where helpful, a photo or manufacturer link. We can investigate availability, but sourcing is not guaranteed.
Payments & pricing
Which payment methods are available?
Checkout may offer cards, Instant EFT, supported digital wallets, scan-to-pay services, Mobicred, RCS and selected cash-code options such as Mukuru Cash or SCode.
Availability depends on the payment provider, device, customer eligibility and current checkout configuration. The payment methods displayed during your checkout are the options available for that transaction.
Are prices in South African rand, and what total will I pay?
Yes. Prices and checkout totals are displayed in South African rand (ZAR). The total reflects the products in your cart, applicable discounts and the shipping fee calculated for the cart.
KifTech uses a DDP delivery process for all orders. Applicable import duties, import tax and customs fees are included in the amount shown at checkout and handled before delivery. Review the checkout total before confirming payment. For an invoice or tax-document question, contact support.
Is payment secure, and what should I do if a payment appears to fail?
KifTech’s storefront and checkout use HTTPS encryption, and payments are processed through the provider displayed at checkout. Never send passwords, PINs, one-time passwords, full card numbers or online-banking credentials to KifTech.
If payment appears to fail, first check for a KifTech order number and confirmation email. A bank may show a temporary authorisation even when checkout did not complete. Contact KifTech and your payment provider with the date, amount and payment reference; share only the last four card digits where necessary.
How does Mobicred work?
Mobicred is a third-party credit option that may be available at checkout. Any monthly amount shown on a product page is an illustration. Approval, available credit, fees, interest, repayment term and the final instalment are determined by Mobicred under its own terms.
Returns, exchanges, refunds & faults
What is the change-of-mind return policy?
You may request a change-of-mind return within 30 days from delivery. The item must be new and unused, with its original tags and packaging.
For an approved change-of-mind return, the customer pays return shipping and a 25% handling fee is deducted from the refund. Do not send an item before the return is approved and instructions are provided.
Do you offer direct exchanges for a different model, colour, size or variant?
We do not process direct exchanges for change-of-mind returns. Return the eligible original item under the change-of-mind terms and place a new order for the preferred item.
Approved faulty, damaged or incorrect items may be replaced without additional return-shipping cost. Applicable rights to a repair, replacement or refund remain unchanged.
What happens if my item has a manufacturing fault?
A manufacturing fault may be reported within six months of delivery. For an approved faulty-item return, KifTech covers the return shipping cost. Under the published policy, you may choose a repair, replacement or full refund after the item is assessed as having a manufacturing fault.
Send your order number, a clear description, photos and—where useful—a short video showing the issue.
What should I do if the item arrived damaged or I received the wrong item?
Report visible transit damage within 48 hours of delivery so it can be addressed promptly with the delivery network. Keep the packaging and send photos of the outer parcel, shipping label, internal packaging and damaged item. This reporting request does not remove the separate six-month protection for a manufacturing fault.
For a wrong item, send photos of the item, packaging and product or barcode label. Do not use, install or alter it while the issue is reviewed. KifTech provides prepaid return shipping for an approved damaged or incorrect-item return.
How do I start a return, and where do I send it?
- Log in at account.kiftech.co.za and submit the return request; or
- Email support@kiftech.co.za with the order number and reason for return.
Approved returns are processed locally within South Africa. We email the return address and instructions after review. Do not send a return to the administrative office, fulfilment centre or another address unless the approval message specifically instructs you to do so.
Who pays return shipping?
- Change of mind: the customer pays return shipping.
- Approved faulty, damaged or incorrect item: KifTech provides prepaid return shipping.
When will my refund be processed?
After an approved return is received and inspected, KifTech processes the refund to the original payment method within 5 calendar days. The bank or payment provider may require additional time before the funds appear.
Gift cards are non-refundable under the published Returns & Refunds Policy.
Is a delayed or missing parcel handled as a product return?
No. Delivery delays, tracking gaps and non-delivery are reviewed under the Shipping & Delivery Policy and Shipping Protection Policy. A return applies after an item has been delivered and is being sent back.
