- Calcium ions, magnesium ions and other soluble salts
- Ammonium acetate, sodium sulfonate and other ionic organic substances
- Heavy metal ions such as chromium, zinc, lead, and copper

The TDS value represents the total soluble solid content in water, which can reflect the water quality to a certain extent. Generally, the lower the TDS value, the less soluble salts such as heavy metal ions in the water, and the purer the water quality. The World Health Organization (WHO) generally believes that the taste of water with a TDS value below 600 is good or appropriate. When the TDS level is greater than 1000, the taste of drinking water will change significantly.
